The scrub itself is fine and is coarse enough to do the job, and the scent is ok. My only hesitation in ordering again was it seems like there was a lot of oil in the container sitting at the top. Very oily I've never seen this before with scrubs.

We're sorry to hear about your concern with the oil separation you noticed at the top of the container. What you experienced is actually completely normal for natural scrubs like ours — since we don't use synthetic emulsifiers or stabilizers, the natural oils can sometimes separate and rise to the surface, especially during shipping or temperature changes. This is actually a sign that we're using pure, natural ingredients without artificial additives!
The oils in our scrub are there to nourish and moisturize your skin while you exfoliate, so that separation doesn't affect the quality or performance of the product at all. A quick stir before use will redistribute everything perfectly and give you that ideal scrub consistency we designed it to have.
We totally understand how this might look unusual if you're used to conventional scrubs that contain synthetic stabilizers to prevent separation. It's definitely something that can catch people off guard the first time they see it with natural products!
