Great for just about everything!
Just love Bend Soap Company's Salvs. They are very Versatile. Soothing Salve works on cracked dry shin, irritated skin, rashes and very dry chapped skin. All Shield makes an excellent antibiotic and anti Microbial ointment as well. Made with all natural ingredients without all the harsh chemicals found in commercial products, also works well on bug bites. Breath Well soothes stuffy noses and relieves congested chests.
A Must Have!
Out of the three, I have only used the Soothing Salve, and I love it!:) It really works! It goes on smooth and easy, and it really does calms irritated skin. I even used some Bend Soap lotion on top of it. I haven't used the Defender and the Breathing one yet. I like having them on hand in case I need them - you know, like all those old store brands we've become accustomed to always having on hand. I have some closet cleaning coming up, and will be saying goodbye to all those store brands. I plan on using both of the other salves soon, as I just read something on the Bend Soaps blog about the eucalyptus in the Breathing salve being good for tired muscles. Who knew? I love the emails about useful info in the blog.:) I am sure the Defender salve would be good for tired muscles, too, as the Defender soap eases my tired muscles and its wonderful scent lifts my spirits. The Defender soap also really helps when I get a blister on my hand from working in my yard, so I can only imagine how great the Defender salve would work on a blister. The Defender soap has kind of made my blister-prone spots on my hands blister proof. When I get one, they heal right away. It's kind of amazing, actually, compared to how I used to spend days dealing with a blister. It must have been all those irritating toxins in the store brand soaps. Soap and water is great, but you gotta have great soap!:) I love Bend Soap products!:)
