In the warmer seasons of the year, kids are out of school and the weather is great — they play outside all day! Climbing trees, swimming in pools or lakes, jumping on trampolines, getting dirty from head to toe… you name it, they're doing it. Who knows what kind of bacteria, germs, and dirt await them during their outdoor adventures. Wouldn't it be great if there was a soap that could help you protect them from all of those "germs"?
This is where one of our latest and greatest products comes into play: All Shield Milk Bath.
After a long day of fun in the sun, grab a tub of our All Shield Milk Bath ($7, available here) and get the kids in the tub for a nice soak. This product is the shredded version of our All Shield Goat Milk Soap ($4.95, available here) and can be considered a "must-have" product when it comes to getting kids super clean in the bath. Throw a handful of the Milk Bath into a tub filled with warm water and watch the curls of goat milk soap dissolve, turning the water a milky white color.
Love taking bubble baths and was excited to try this product. Was not disappointed! Not only does it smell fabulous and easy to use but my skin was smooth to the touch not to mention how relaxed I was after this bath. Thank you for making amazing (and natural!!) products! - Jo
If you happen to love the Young Living "Thieves" or Doterra "On Guard" essential oils, you'll love the blend of pure essential oils in our All Shield Milk Bath! The All Shield soap has six different pure essential oils that help disinfect naturally and scare off the germs:
- Eucalyptus
- Orange
- Lemon
- Rosemary
- Clove
- Cinnamon
This combination of essential oils is known to have antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiviral, antiseptic, and antioxidant properties. Did we mention that it also smells great?
Along with such fantastic perks, All Shield has a strong spicy scent with citrus undertones that is sure to leave you feeling invigorated, clean and well defended. Because some of these oils are strong and spicy by nature, please use caution if using on sensitive skin. We don't recommend using All Shield soap as a face soap or baby soap.
So, whether you try to bar or Milk Bath, All Shield is definitely a Bend Soap Company product you'll want to buy in bulk so you always have plenty on hand.

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks so much for reaching out with your question! Yes — our Milk Bath is completely safe for septic systems. It’s made with natural ingredients that won’t harm the beneficial bacteria your septic tank relies on. Since it does contain nourishing oils (like those found in our goat milk soap), it’s a good idea to give your drains a little maintenance from time to time to help keep things running smoothly.
Here are a few natural, septic-safe ways to keep your drains clean and clear:
Hot Water Flush: About once a week, pour a full kettle of boiling water down the drain, followed by very hot tap water for a minute or two. This helps melt and rinse away any oils or soap buildup.
Baking Soda & Vinegar: Once a month, pour ½ cup of baking soda followed by ½–1 cup of white vinegar down the drain. Let it fizz for about 15–30 minutes, then rinse with boiling water. This gently clears residue and keeps drains smelling fresh.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Skip bleach or antibacterial drain cleaners, as they can disrupt the healthy bacteria balance in your septic tank.
With a little regular care, you’ll keep your drains and septic system happy while still enjoying your Milk Bath to the fullest! Don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer support team at info@bendsoap.com should you have any additional questions or concerns, they’ll be happy to help! :)
